Surfing, skim boarding, body boarding and stand up paddle boarding are just a few of the activities that can get your adrenaline pumping in the laid-back days of the summer. We thought it’d be fun to share five things-to-do before summer ends. Some of these are common but there are a few not so well known activities we hope you find refreshing.

Paddle boarding, surfing and skim boarding. Best spots for these are Oak Street Beach, Thalia Beach and Victoria Beach. You can expect smaller crowds but with the same beauty as the main beach.

Mountain biking. With so many different trails, Laguna Beach is a mountain bikers dream. Moulton Meadows Park can offer coastal and canyon views while Alta Laguna Park offer amazing views that make you feel like you’re on top of the world!

Go for a picnic. Grab some local bites from some of our favorite places – Active Culture, The Stand or La Sirena Grill and head to the beach or park. There is nothing like enjoying great food in the outdoors.

Gelato, Gelato, Gelato. Pick up some yummy Gelato from Gelato Paradiso or Dolce Gelato and head to any one of the many art festivals to enjoy live outdoor music.
